The "SEA DOG" is the newest addition to the Hatteras Harbor fleet, and the only one of its kind. A 42 ft. custom commercial fishing vessel refit and painted in 2008. It has accomadations for six, both inside the cabin and on the deck. New outriggers, clean toilet, state of the art Furuno Nav Net electronics, communications, life raft, epirb, safety equipment, and 650 horsepower of American made Mack diesel propulsion. Licensed and insured. Owned and operated by Capt. Chris Bock and his wife Tiffany, family partner of the Quarterdeck Restaurant, which has been serving Locals and Visitors of Hatteras Island for over 30 years.
Captain Chris Bock has over 22 years of professional fishing and customer service experience. He has Captained fishing vessels around the US, Carribean, Bahamas, Central and South America. Finishing billfish tournaments with honors including the youngest Captain to ever win the World Cup Blue Marlin Championship in 02'. Other tournament succes includes the Bermuda Big Game Classic 03'. Bahamas Billfish Championship placings from 1992 to 2000. Turks and Caicos Release Classic placings in 1999 and 2000. He now is raising a family here in Hatteras and is excited about having an opportunity to take and show people the skills, patience, and fun involved in a successful day of fishing in the beautiful waters of the North Carolina coast.
